White Ribbon Day

Engadine High School

Engadine High School once again celebrated White Ribbon on Monday, declaring proudly to our community that our students promise to reject and speak out against violence towards women.

Our student leadership team led their peers through an emotional Assembly attended by White Ribbon Ambassadors Dale Palmer and Marianne Siokos and the director of Education Garrie Russell. It was a powerful and memorable occasion, representing the culmination of a proud White Ribbon tradition at the school and featuring unforgettable words on violence and gender, our  White Ribbon choir, and the EHS White Ribbon film for 2017. This celebration day represented one more proud step in our school's pledge to ‘change the story’ around men’s violence against women in Australia.
