50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing

Engadine High School

Following on from our session with a guest speaker from NASA over the internet last term, we held events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first man on the moon.

During our first assembly for the term, Mr Drayton reminded the school about Neil Armstrong’s famous words "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

Junior students worked on a chalk drawing in C Block depicting a man on the moon.

In the Library we incorporated the Luna Landing Anniversary in the theme for the week, with an appropriate lunch time jigsaw puzzle activity, videos and model display.
