Friday 28th June was our annual “Cucina Italiana” day for Year 11 Food Tech, Hospitality, and Italian Continuers classes.
Under the direction of Ms Borg, Mrs Daley and Ms Sumertha, students whipped up fresh ricotta from scratch to then use in ravioli alla ricotta e spinaci (and sì, we made the pasta from scratch, too!), and finally ricotta cheesecakes. Dessert was consumed too quickly to get a photo! And to make it a proper Italian carb-fest, Ms Borg also made focaccia all’aglio e rosmarino for us to enjoy.
