Our Heroes for Humanity

From Australia for UNHCR

“Thank you so much for taking part in 2 Billion Kilometres to Safety campaign. We are so grateful for your amazing efforts and hope that the students enjoyed stepping in support of refugees and raising vital funds to support the world’s most vulnerable. Thank you!

The funds your school and students have raised will make a real difference to the lives of refugees. Thanks to the kindness and generosity UNHCR is able to:

  •         Provide back-to-school kits with materials like textbooks, uniform and shoes as well as pay school fees for refugee children to ensure they can go back to school
  •         Pay for tutoring and teacher salary and ensure children have access to a safe and happy school environment
  •         Provide secure, child-friendly shelter to ensure vulnerable and lone refugee children go to sleep in a safe space at night
  •         Supply crucial and life-saving food, clean water, medicine and protection to refugee children to help bring them back to health and lower the rick to their lives.”
