We want to support you and your children and keep our school community safe and well.
The students and staff are thoroughly enjoying the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in the Library space. Puzzles, board games and jigsaws are back. Students can now browse the shelves and select from our wonderful, up to date collection of fiction, graphic novels, non-fiction and more. The loan period is 3 weeks at EHS. YEAR 10 STUDY SKILLS All Year 10 classes have participated in a Library based lesson this week. The students are now familiar with the Harvard Referencing System including in-text citations and writing a bibliography and consequently how to avoid plagiarism. All content is available on the Library Google Classroom.
EHS encourages all students in Years 7, 8 and 9 and the Support Unit (all year groups) to participate in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. The Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature.
