As the Semester comes to an end, as a school community we have met incredible challenges and have adapted to what is the current school norm and social reality that is COVID19. We are incredibly proud of how students have been able to show agility of thinking as they navigated this first Semester of 2020. Additionally, we cannot thank enough the entire school staff for their tireless work and the school community for their support during this time.
Year 12 have completed their HSC Trial Examinations, in what will undoubtedly be a HSC year to remember. Students should be proud of what they have accomplished this year, given the challenges they have faced and use the feedback from exams to continue to build upon their learning outcomes. For those students working on Major Projects we encourage them to persevere and use the upcoming break as a time to consolidate work they have done.
Early next term Years 8 & 10 will receive their Elective information, as we finalise the Subject Selection process and formulate classes. While we attempt to ensure all students are allocated their preferences, please remember at times this is not always possible and we will work with students to find suitable alternatives.
Finally we would like to wish everyone a safe and restful holiday. Continue to practice good social distancing and hygiene to stay well in preparation for an exciting and hopefully less eventful Term 3.
