ClickView Online is now available to all students 24/7. Our ClickView subscription allows student access to 3,555 digital educational videos which are mapped to the Australian Curriculum. Students can log into ClickView Online using their DoE credentials. http://online.clickview.com.au

Oliver – Federated Searches 

The new library system Oliver continues to expand. Engadine High is a pilot school for the latest version of Oliver – Build 8. This is a reminder to all students that they can access excellent reliable sources of information via Oliver.  The link to Oliver is on the student portal.

We have added some extra databases and resources to the Federated Search option. Students now have seamless access to Britannica Online (an online encyclopedia), ClickView Online (a video library of over 3,500 educational videos), LinksPlus – Weblinks Online Australia(a database of websites which have been evaluated by Teachers and Teacher Librarians) and a number of Department of Education Repositories.

Access to our e-Book Library just got so much easier. There are over 1,250 new e-Books available to students and staff at EHS. There are three simple ways to access these e-Books.

Using the ePlatform App

  1. Download the ePlatform app from your app store

  2. Find our Library – Engadine High School

  3. Sign in with your Department of Education username and password

  4. Browse the collection and Borrow

  5. The loan period is for 2 weeks and the book will simply disappear from your device at the end of this time

Using the EHS Website

  1. Go to the EHS website http://www.ehs.nsw.edu.au/

  2. Click on the e-Books link on the homepage https://engadinehigh.wheelers.co/

  3. Sign in with your Department of Education username and password

  4. Browse the collection and Borrow

Using Oliver – the new library system

  1. Go to the EHS website http://www.ehs.nsw.edu.au/

  2. Click on the DEC Website link on the homepage http://www.dec.nsw.gov.au/

  3. Sign in with your Department of Education username and password

  4. Open the Oliver Library Link on the main student portal interface

  5. Search for your favourite titles or e-Books

  6. Check the format icon

  7. Click on the title and BORROW

  8. The loan period is for 2 weeks and the book will simply disappear from your device at the end of this time

The e-Book platform is compatible with PC,  MAC, iPad, iPhone, Android devices, Windows 10 and more.

EASY ACCESS TO OVER 15,000 EVALUATED WEBSITES

EHS Library subscribes to LinksPlus – Weblinks Online Australia. This is a comprehensive monthly directory of Internet sites commonly requested by learners when researching in the library. The whole database has in excess of 15,000 records. Between 80 and 100 up-to-date and relevant World Wide Web sites are selected and added each month to meet the research needs of learners. Websites are carefully chosen for their educational content and usefulness by a teacher librarian and experienced educators.

Links Plus can be accessed through the Federated Search Option in Oliver.

1. Log into the DoE student portal and select Oliver Library. ( There is a link to the DoE Website on the Homepage)

2. Type keyword(s) into the search bar and select Federated Search.

3. Select Databases – LinksPlus – this provides seamless access to a range of evaluated websites.
