On Tuesday the SRC visited Our Big Kitchen in Bondi and cooked 220 meals for disadvantaged people in Sydney.
Our students volunteered their time to prepare and cook fried rice and mixed vegetables that will be distributed to people across the city by a variety of organisations. We were incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and social justice ethos they displayed. Our Big Kitchen does amazing work, not only by feeding people in need but running a free clothing and party supplies store for struggling families, and providing support and space for new social enterprises to get started.
