As we move to the end of the school year, it is a time for reflection. We have had a hugely successful school year epitomised by our outstanding HSC results with more Band 6s than ever before - 64 in total.

Lunch Time Chess Comp

It was great to see so many students engaged in a lunch time chess comp in the Library during Term 4. Thank you to Will Hickey in Year 11 for coordinating the program.

Handwriting Workshop

Throughout November and December a number of Year 9, 10 and 11 students worked with Janine Painter, an Occupational Therapist, to improve their hand writing and organisational skills. This program was made possible through the allocation of ‘needs-based school funding’, commonly known as ‘Gonski’ money.

School Sustainability Council final 2016 report

The Student Sustainability team have ahead a very productive year, including participating in and organising events such as, 'Clean Up Australia Day', Earth Hour, Plant a Tree Day, The Community of Schools on the Park 'Sustainable Science Conference' as well as running a "Mobile Muster' and hosting 'Speaking for the Planet' here at EHS.
