Children’s Book Council of Australia Award (CBCA) Winners

In 1946 the CBCA established annual book awards to promote children's books of high literary and artistic quality. These awards are now the most influential and highly respected in Australia. There are some wonderful award winning books this year and all are available to borrow from our library.

Legacy Week 2016

Legacy Week is the annual national appeal to raise awareness and funds for the families of our incapacitated and deceased Veterans.

We are very proud of the seven SRC students who braved windy and wet conditions on Friday, 2 September to sell merchandise for Legacy.

Year 7 raises $2064.25

Engadine High School has raised an incredible $8,042.78 for World Vision Projects in this year’s 40 Hour Famine!  This is an amazing effort from the 55 participants and their very generous sponsors.

I could not be more proud of our students and teachers as they come to challenge the notion of borders. We are increasingly a part of a global community where borders between countries are broken down, and at Engadine High the school fence does not determine how, and what we learn.
