Year 8 support Beanies for Brain Cancer

Engadine High School

In Term 2, Week 9, the Year 8 SRC decided to spread awareness for the Mark Hughes Foundation, Beanies for Brain Cancer campaign.

We did so by allowing all students to wear a beanie of their choice from home and bring a gold coin donation. This money will go towards important research to find a cure for brain cancer.

Our fundraiser was very successful and raised an astonishing $1045! Mark Hughes sent us a personal video thanking us for our efforts and for supporting the Foundation.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting this great cause and congratulate you for an amazing effort! You all looked fabulous!
